 Surprise, Surprise
Well, based on the views of my last blog, I seem to have lost my small following. Granted, it was made private because I am not up for ignorant people reading things they cannot possibly understand with their small minds (you know who you are), but this was one post that would have been nice to have feedback on.

Things are flowing right along, but I am increasingly dissatisfied with how much time I have to do things that I want to do. Need to change that. In the meantime, I will keep writing movie reviews (whether anyone reads them or not), and writing new stories, and looking forward to a time when I have tons of energy because I am not burdened by the thought of having to drop my world at 3:00 PM and go teach privately. I really love my students, and the job itself is great, but there are no perks to working when everyone else has a social life, and being free when everyone else is at work. For someone who needs to talk to process life and emotions, this is not going to work for decades on end. Thirteen years of working nights and weekends. Although I have cut back, it has only spoiled me to want more.

Perhaps I will start a new line of blogs in which I pick a topic on the internet (as so many do) and occupy my mind with ponderings of it. Getting people's views on various topics that I am NOT emotional tied to might be refreshing :)

Again, thanks to those of you who do always listen and share your own worlds with me. I am very grateful. Have a beautiful Wednesday!

Does that mean you're not teaching at all anymore, or just not as regularly? It's good that you are making time for yourself. I know all about working while everyone else isn't, I work 12 hour shifts, and sometimes they fall on the weekends, and it just isn't fun!

Oh, and I looked at some of your movie reviews, I just hadn't seen any of them, so I didn't want to comment and look stupid. I just planned on popping in on them now and again and commenting when I had something significant to contribute.

I am still working four nights per week, either in teaching or with my symphonic choir. I have taken my weekends off this past year because my husband's income makes that possible. I am very blessed that way. I use to work every night and weekends and still had to supplement my two jobs' income with a house cleaning job. It was really hard on my back and my outlook on life.

About the films... the beauty of the group is that you can watch the movies that seem intriguing and then make a comment (no comment is wrong). I made the group to share whatever people wanted to about movies that I thought were well made, or interesting. I also accept suggestions of films to watch. I am a movie buff in the truest sense of the words. Thanks for continuing to keep up with me. You are the best!!!
