| Chapter 5: The Crusade Begins

Welcome to the sixth installment of the Legend of Alexander.
Our hero, Alexander, continues his quest to slay Deimos. As he travels through these lands searching for the enemy, he hears myths of a sealed cave in the Chasm of Evil. The Chasm of Evil is located in the Northern Wastelands. He walks into earshot of the Chasm and hears brutal screams of pain. Chilling cires for help and mercy unnerve Alexander. He quickens his pace into a full sprint.
From nowhere a floating torso covered in onyx-steel armor zooms toward Alexander and begins to attack him. Startled, Alexander draws his sword and attempts to defend himself against the Lesser Carnos. He slashes at the air with utter futility. The daemon is just too fast. Behind him though, he hears loud galloping. He turns just in time to see a giant headless horse yielding the similar onyx-steel armor. This is the Carnos Steed. He panics and holds his sword toward the Steed. It runs directly into it and is impaled. The Carnos Steed instantly bursts into flames.
The Lesser Carnos is still attempting to strip him of his flesh. It finally makes a mistake, it slows from fatigue. The daemon hesitates and Alexander swings his mighty blade and beheads it.
ALexander proceeds into the Chasm of Evil and before him stands a fifteen foot creature, "Behold! Before me stands the legendary Alexander Caprais, champion of the new Alexion. You do not know me, I am your end. I am HATRED!!!"--To Be Continued.
Can Alexander survive this deadly encounter? Find our on the 4th of March.
