Hello everybody, this is a short chapter, and today (Feb 12) My girlfriend turns 16. Anyway, down to business.
Alexander looks around for a bridge, or anything he can use for one, but does not find anything. He begins to turn back from his quest and remembers his promise to his dad and says, "Father, I shall not break my vow to free you. Even if I must die trying, I shall not concede defeat."
He then takes a step onto what seems like nothingness and finds a sturdy pathway. He drops to his knees and thanks Lady Elihandra. Alexander then crosses the chasm to reach a beautiful temple built of gold and marble. He finds the door which is inscribed with ancient text that reads, "Proceed Hero, into the Sancuary of the Holy Warriors of Elihandra."
He then crosses the threshold of the building to find a chamber lined with sculptures of paladins. In the center of the room lies the most beautiful and radiant armor ever to have eyes laid upon. THe armor gleams as a faint voice calls to Alexander, "Alexander Caprais, you are the chosen on, the Elekti. Your fate is a grave one. The armor before you is yours if you wish it. The price however is steep. You must bring about the fall of Lord Deimos. You are now a paladin of my army, the Alexion. You are the final defender of this land."
The new paladin walks forward and equips the armor and the voice then continues, "You have chosen well. Prepare yourself for what lies ahead."
Look for Chapter 4: Hatred's Assault
You will discover the power of Deimos' weakest emotions. Alexander has his hands full. It will be premiering on February 19, 2008. |

I just came across your work today. I read all 3 chapters, and I would like to say good work. I think it has all the potential to be a real page turner (if there were any pages to turn, that is)

Thank you for your compliment. There is actually a few pages to it. But you are reading it in its complete form. ALl of this is written down on paper before it is posted. I usually have the next chapter done before I post the chapter. I am glad you like my writing. I hope you consider the rest of it as good or better than the first. The next few chapters are going to be the more difficult ones. There will be 16 chapters and an Epilogue.
