Welcome to Comedia
If you picked up  on this through your searching and wonderings through the net hoping for a serious look at being born blind you are in for a shock.  This is a look at being blind; but not a serious one it is told through the use of characters I created and real and fictional stories as perceived through my eyes and ears, welcome to comedia a comedic and chaotic look into my every day life.  The life of a legally blind man.  Be fore warned this is not a place for those who believe in being PC (politically correct).  This is Comedia a world i control, and anything can happen.

"The following definitions are are provided so you may understand the three main characters Id, Ego and Super-ego, who will be playing the hapless victims...oops I mean characters in the stories, Freudian slip"  "Who's talking I didn't like that what does he mean victims?"  "Id shush."  "Ego i ain't nobody's victim."  "He said we would be the characters."  "He said victims no not gonna happen."  "Ego shut him up or i am going too."  Now, Now Super-ego.  "You're going to what?!"  "Id shutup, I'm warning you now and only once."  "All of you be quiet i am not done introducing you."  "What was that?"   "I am the writer i control your little world and what you think, feel and do."  "Nobody controls me."  "Id be quiet."  "No, He is bluffing no one has that kind of power."  "Ego shut him up please!"  "You doubt my power huh?"

The ancient stones began to glow as the ritual sacrifice to the forgotten ones, got underway.  many cloaked figure wondered in single file towards a stone circle.  The three from another world would die today to honor and provide for future prosperity.  "Where are we?"  "Guys why are we tied to a stone slab?"  "Id you did this You made him mad and now look, we're going to die.."  "Quiet you two they are about to say something."........................."What is that?"  Id looked up and to his left there was a giamt blade, being mounted to a long wooden pole attached to a hinge in the celling.  As well as a series of counter wieghts.  Graet it is a pendilum.  "You guys clocks have pendilums right...right."  "Yeah they do jackass, but those don't tick back and forth getting closer at each swing and end your life."   A the blade swung ever closer Id began to whimper, go just closed his eyes if i can't see it it is not there, after all what you can't see should not bother you."  Super-ego did nothing but curse at Id for getting them into this mess.  "Guys this is it one more swing and we're done for."  Right as the blade was an inch from slashing Id's chest, with a sudden thud tehy were all laying in a plain white room. "Are we dead?"  "No Super-ego, i rescued you all at teh last moment."  "I'am alive, ha ha ha yes alive, alive."  Before ego could stop him Super-ego had punched Id in the stomach.  "what?"  It did not hurt him at all.  "Hey id i just saved you from pain that is only one of my powers as the writer "  Now we can move on to the definitions, sorry that i was so rudely intrerupted.

The id is responsible for our basic drives such as food, sex, and aggressive impulses. It is amoral and egocentric, ruled by the pleasure–pain principle; it is without a sense of time, completely illogical, primarily sexual, infantile in its emotional development, and will not take "no" for an answer. It is regarded as the reservoir of the libido or "love energy".

the ego mediates among the id, the super-ego and the external world. Its task is to find a balance between primitive drives, morals, and reality while satisfying the id and super-ego. Its main concern is with the individual's safety and allows some of the id's desires to be expressed, but only when consequences of these actions are marginal. Ego defense mechanisms are often used by the ego when id behavior conflicts with reality and either society's morals, norms, and taboos or the individual's expectations as a result of the internalization of these morals, norms, and taboos.

the super-ego is a symbolic internalization of the father figure and cultural regulations. The super-ego tends to stand in opposition to the desires of the id because of their conflicting objectives, and is aggressive towards the ego. The super-ego acts as the conscience, maintaining our sense of morality and proscription from taboos.
