Everybody has their own routines after their every meal. Some may immediately continue working after they’ve already ate, while others take a quick nap. For smokers like me, lighting up a cigarette is what automatically comes next after eating.

After each meal that my family and I finish, I instantly get my pack of cigarettes and call my wife so we could smoke in the smoking area of our house. It’s really a great feeling to light up a cigarette after each meal, when you feel sluggish most of the time and the first thing that you want to do is sit back and relax while sipping a cup of coffee and smoking a couple of cigarettes. I don’t really know if there’s some scientific explanation to it, but when I smoke every after meal, it feels as if the food that I’ve eaten comes down gently and is digested well, and it somehow makes me feel very satisfied.

I don’t pick a specific time for smoking. When I just feel like it, I quickly light up a cigarette. When I’m doing something and I am a bit stressed, smoking allows me to contemplate and think more efficiently. But nothing really beats that feeling when I smoke after every meal. And I’m sure that this does apply to most, if not, all smokers.

It’s not really a good habit to keep, most importantly health-wise, which is why I tend to think how I wish I have had an electronic cigarette instead, so I wouldn’t have to limit myself of having only a few sticks of cigarettes each day, which is heavily based on my wife’s decision since she also wants me to live healthier. But because of the stubborn kid that I am, sometimes, I do smoke a few more sticks when she’s not around so as to satisfy my cravings.

Because of my curiosity to what electronic cigarettes really are or how they could compare to real cigarettes, I did a quick research and found out that they produce vapor instead of smoke. There are lots of other things that were different in electronic cigarettes, but I believe that they would do a nice alternative for smoking whenever I finish a meal.
