 Women are it
It was not God nor Jesus who said women cannot preach.  It was men.  Mary Magdalene a woman of shame, a woman with a sexual sinful past.  This woman was completely transformed when she met Jesus.  She was been chased by pious men who wanted to kill her for been caught in the act of adultery.  Now, where was the man she was found with.  What happened to him?  Jesus, a man, more righteous than Him could not be found then nor now,  this righteous man saved her life.  This woman was chosen by God to carry the first proclamation of His Resurrection.  He commanded Mary Magdalene,  "go instead to my brothers and tell them, "I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God".

No higher commission to preach the gospel was ever given.  While the 12 apostles that Jesus had selected some of them failed Him.  One betrayed Him, another one denied Him and the others ran away and hid.  The women were very brave.  They were with Jesus during His cruxifiction.  They were the first to come to his tomb on the thrid day and to carry the news of His resurrection.  It was a woman who washed His feet.  It was a woman, Mary, his mother who took care of Jesus, the son of God, who fed him and was there when he fell down as a child and cried out.  Mary was there with Jesus at the cruxifiction.   Jesus loved her and respected her.  Even when He was suffering physical and spiritual torment, dying on the cross, He was concerned for His mother.
Jesus never belittle a woman, or chased them away, nor rejected them in any way shape or form.  Jesus had pure love for women.  He saw them as worthy to spread the Gospel.  One of God's commandments if to honor our mother's.

There were seven prophetesses  Sarah, Miriam, deborah, Hannah, Abigail, Hulda and Esther who prophesied to Israel.  Some of these women are mentioned in the Holy Bible. After all it is a woman who rocks the cradle.

Go sister on the theme! But I thought it was now agreed that Mary Magdelene was the one that had demons cast out, not the adulteress, i.e. that it was a simple misreading of verses that just happen to be next to each other that had allowed her to be cast in that role when she (along with Joanna) were from rich-ish families and helped fund the disciples' travels?
