Wicca as you put it, Wiccan and Pagan do not reflect negative factors. You are confusing the word Pagan with another form of religious factors illustrated in theology representative of devil worship. In forms of what you refer to as "WitchCraft'. there is white and black. Black often represents evil. Wiccan embraces the qualities of all forms of religion and does not harm, nor judge others who choose to follow the translations of a bible.
While you state, witchcraft in referrence to a younger generation, that is not necessarily true, as well.
Many individuals who believe in a Wiccan way of life, have nothing to do with spells, or voo doo or evil in any way, shape or form. There are not just three gods or goddesses.
I really would like to know what you base your information upon or who may have influenced you to write this blog?
There also is the issue of power or control. Power and control are forces that are individual and related to all forms of life, whether it be christianity or any theological path.
It is also not always a "self appointed" form of idea, that someone proclaims themselves to be a healer.
In True Wiccan, Evil does not exist any more than in true Christianity does Evil exist.
There are other areas, that do not control either...Some choose the path or knowledge in the I Ching, Tarot or otherwise.
Absolutely NO ONE is controlled unless, they are brain washed or choose to be controlled.
Paganism also exists in many different paths and can possess either a choice of evil or good.

It was Gerald Gardner, in 1954 who popularised "Wica". He was a retired British civil servant, who at the time called it Witchcraft and its adherents "the Wica".
Wiccans, as followers of Wicca worship a God, "the Horned God and a Goddess" usually known as the Triple Goddess. Sometimes they are represented as being a part of a greater pantheistic Godhead, and manifesting themselves as various polytheistic deities. Wicca rituals include the use of magic, liberal way morality and celebrate eight seasonal-based festivals.

There is dispute as to what actually constitutes Wicca between themselves and general public views. You have the kind known in North America as British Traditional Wicca, which has grown in popularity in recent years. Other source conclude that Wicca witchcraft religion includes other forms of Goddess. There is the Greco-Roman goddess Selene,this is one many goddesses equated with the Wiccan worships. While you state, witchcraft in referrence to a younger generation, that is not necessarily true, as well. My answer to that is this: I believe withcraft in any shape or form is evil. Because it constite a lie the worshipping of false gods and godesses who are not real and do not exist.

To claim that none do any evil is to be inside each person 24-7 365 days a year. We all know there are good and bad people. They do have spells according to my readings on the subject of Wicca.
Wiccans venerate a Goddess and a God. This religion is duotheistic. The God is symbolised as the Sun, and the Goddess as the Moon. But the God is viewed as a Horned God. This God association is with sex, wilderness, nature and hunting. Even though this Horned God is given different names such as: The Celtic god Cernunnos, Pan, Atho and Karnayna and even at times viewed as the Green man is the same one. Other depictions of the Horned God is the Oak King and Holly King. These so called, "Kings", rule of seasons, one for Spring and Summer and the other for Autumn and Winter.
Dating to the 1st century BC there was or is still the antlered god from the Gundestrup Cauldron.

The Goddess is identified as a Triple Goddess consisting of 'Maiden', 'Mother' and 'Crone' but is the same Moon Goddess.This is reflected in the traditional structure of the coven. The gods of Wicca are prehistoric gods of the British Isles according to Gerald Gardner, a Horned God and a Great Mother goddess.
