Sometimes we wonder where is God during all the trouble, pain and evil in the world. How could God let this or that happen? Why doesn't He do something? Here is a question for you, "Where were you? Where was I? What did I do or didn't do to help out? Even, I am guilty to some degree. I have to examine my heart and mind and question myself if I have done enough to help out and if not, "How come?"
It is very hard for me to acknowledge my responsibility to this our world, because fear and dread of the outcome. It is very painful to know the truth about myself. I don't have to help the entire world but I am to help those who need help and I am able to help out. Of course there are times that I cannot and it has to be a very good reason and not cowardice.
A lot of the terrors of this world are man made. Crimes and violence come from mans' heart and minds. What did you do to change the world around you? If you saw a person been beaten up, Did you call the police? I can see why we are afraid to intervine, we might get hurt. Yeah! The criminal gets a fancy talking lawyer and he walks, or he get a lazy, laxing, judge who lets him walk. That is one of our fears and the fact that this criminal can come and seek revenge on me .
The other side of that coin is the human equation. If a crime was done against you, "Would you not like someone to come to your aid?" If they do the right thing, then is up to the police. If the police ignore your call or leave till later to investigate then that is on them. However if the police do their job and arrest the individual responsible for the crime, then they have done their duty. Now, is up to the jury and the judge to set corrective measures to see that this criminal does not land on the streets. No matter what kind of fancy talking lawyer they are able to buy. The jury has a duty to uphold justice for the victim and do what is right and not cope a plea in order to hurry up, not be responsible, afraid that the criminal will come after then or so on.
When the verdict comes in then is the judges' turn to pass sentence. The judge is now the one who determines what happens next with these criminal according to the law. He should not accept a bribe to low the jail term or do something illegal that the criminal goes free. If the judge is an honest man he will see to it that the punishment fits the crime. His job in sentencing is done.
Now is the turn of the jailers, warden and the like to house this prisoner and watch that he does not escape or sell drugs and or illegal substance in prison. Taxpayers are paying to house this criminal. If the prisoner escapes, whose fault is it?
So, you see God has done His job in providing laws for us humans to live accordingly. If we do not uphold His laws and do as we like then is up to every living person to carry that responsibility and its' consequences. This world is a fallen world, there is evil all around us but there is also good. Evil cannot flourish if we get off our butts and do something to stop it.
What have you done for Him lately? We are our brothers keeper. In other words we should help out. God is not responsible for the evil in the world. He did not create evil, we have, by following Satan's way and doing his work.
So, let us not blame God for crime. It is us and only us who can remedy the situation by putting away criminals and seeing to it that they stay in jail. When Jesus Christ returns He is going to put an end to evil. There will be no more murders, rapes, child physial and sexual abuse and the multitude of crimes. The animosity between the species will end. a lion will lay down next to the lamb, the tiger next to a deer and so on. The evil Satan and it's demonds will be chained for one thousand years. There will be a world of beauty and peace, nations will not rise against nation during that time. People will be able to sleep with their doors open, walk in their streets free of fear, take walk at night without concern for their safety. It would be a grand and beautiful world. Creation will be at peace with man and man with creation. How wonderful that will be.

God cares, He sees what goes on in his planet. He proved it by sending his only Son to die a terrible humiliating death on a cross for humanity. He intervines sometimes in the affairs of the world for our own good. |

I'm sorry but sometimes trouble just comes to people who are doing the right thing, love the Lord and follow His teachings.
Why does God choose to inflict and cause continual hurt to some Christians and not others. It's like He doesn't really love or care.
