 The quest
We humans are always in a quest mode.  Either for evil or good there is always a quest.  What would life be without a quest?   We must remember that all of us humans have a spirit that requires feeding.  It does not matter in terms of quest if we are evil or good, this quest, or urge has to be met.

Some of us reject spirituality for we associated with going over the edge in some cult form.  Yes, there is a wrong kind of spirituality that worships spirits of the dead, demons and so on.
But spirituality is basically been connected to your  spirit and the power source.  We all know that in order to get energy we must have a source that produces energy and transfers that energy to the object.

In matters of the spirit that dwells within us we can know what drives us, motivates, pushes us for the "quest" by doing a bit of soul search. It can be selfishness, destructive egotism, demonic influences, or it can be the opposite as unselfish love, concern for our brother humans, animals, plants, oceans and so on.  This truth we know that we act according to the spirit that guides us.   What we want most of all has nothing to do with what we really need to survive spiritually and physically.  In our society we quickly get our physical survival needs met.  But when we come to our spiritual survival we are slow to act.  Did you ever asked yourselves what do I treasure?  What would make me complete?

In spirituality we learn what our spirit are. Been a society reared in the practice of consumerism.  Every waking hour we watch television, listen to the radio or take a drive we are bombarded with ads to buy, buy, buy.  There is always a smiling face telling us how wonderful the products is and how it will bring you happiness.  We have a learned behavior of associating  a lot of things with money and a preocupation with age, physical appeareance, health, love.  We forget that inner spirituality is not about money, fame, physical appearance nor how religious we are.  We can go to church every day and still be spiritualy dead and be overwhelmed by worldly affairs and our fears .

There is a domain within you that is dorman or very much alive.  Is not floating around you or disenbodied but it is vibrant, energetic and teaming with all kinds of energy fields and is within you.  Sadly, it is frequantly ignored, unused, neglected or just plain rejected.  That field of energy continues once our bodies died goes back where it came from, to the source of life that has never stopped existing, to the one who has always been in charge.

That source is  God .  He is clean, refreshing, pure, unadulterated, unfailing, always present, never late in actions. We need to feel secure in whom or what we place our trust. It is critical to have a love that never fails, tires, takes vacations from us, denies us our basic need of love and acceptance. He is the only source where you can find those attributes.  This undeniable power  is wants friendship, love, respect for him and it's creations and obedience from us. He gave us our human bodies and the responsability of stewardship.  He also created the world and everything in it and gave us dominion over of it.  Not to abuse it but to care for all his creations.  With that dominion and stewardship comes  a big responsiblity.  We must see to it that is not violated nor abused.  We cannot expect to violate God's creations and expect not to suffer the consequences.

The oceans has a very sensitive ecosystem and is now showing signs of imbalance from chronic overuse and abuse. Half of the world's original coastal marshes and mangrove forests are now developed as industrial parks, residential areas and farms. The over fishing industry, and the intentional killing of whales by the japanese. Cold water from melting glaciers are changing the oceans conveyor belt water temperatures that regulates part the world climate, this might end up bringing a frozen ice age that will kill millions of people all over the world.

Today with the global warming problem scientist have discovered that our glaciers are rapidly melting. Our globe is covered by  at least 70% water.  Ninety seven percent of all earth's water is in our oceans.  Our oceans are a necessity to maintain the kind of life we enjoy today.  These massive accumulation of water provides the means for continual existance of planet Earth.  It gives us the oxygen we need to breathe, is a cleaning reservoir for soaking up almost half of the globe's gaseous carbon pollutants.   Our oceans is living space for thousands upons thousands of living species fish, animals and plants.  Is a food source that brings food to the starving masses.  Is an essential part of a wordly economy. Has the wonderful ingredients for today's and future medicinal cures and some are yet to be discovered .  It generates our weather system.

The land which have not been seen for thousands of years is now completely visible and grass, flowers and other things buried by ice for milleniums is alive and sprouting. Our land is been stripped naked by the logging industries which is destroying our precious forrest. There is a danger in that because in awakening frozen ancient land and deforestation we run the risk of also reawakening all kinds of things.  What if there is a virus that laid waste an entired world at one time but then has been dormant for eions and is now coming alive because of global warming, but we have no diffence over it. What about bringing out of destroyed forrest animals, bugs and plants species that we have never seeing and are a danger to the human population.

We are all responsible for how we treat planet Earth and its inhabitants.  It should be treated with upmost respect and not abuse, changed, depleted or over used.  People need to understand that this is the only home we all have and God created perfectly for our enjoyment and safe guarding.
