My car had a flat tire. Ah, that tire is rot from the inside and it has been given problems for some time. My son pump some tire liquid sealer into the tire so that I could temporarily drive on it. I was going to go to the big farmer's market called Roots. Is about a 20 min. ride from my home. But I was concern with the darn tire. So I decide instead to go to discount place that sold used good tires for 30.00 dollars. I did not want to pay the 79.00 tire cost on another place I had checked out.
For the life of me I could not find the place. I drove down the Manheim Pike, which is the name of the pike this business is at and I could not find it. I stopped at several places to see if I could get a new tire for a reasonable price but it was 79.00 plus mounting work. Discourage I set out to keep searching for the place after gettin some directions from one of the salesman in the garage I stopped by. I drove and drove on the pike and could not see it and I stayed on the Manheim pike and ended up stopping at another tire location that I had never heard of and asked if they had any used tires that I could purchase and the salesman said, "Yes, is 35.00 all included, that mean the mounting etc.". Wow, I was please, I ended up purchasing 2 front tires for my car that were in great shape and were a good brand, Goodyear, the tires looked great. I paid 70.00 for 2 tires and was happy about the purchase.
I was pretty far into the Manheim pike and decided to go ahead and visit the Roots Market. Darn, I could not find it. A place I have been visiting for years, I could not find it. I drove into another town and feeling very dumb because I could not locate these places I was ready to quit and go home but I saw a vegetable stand and a young boy selling and I stopped and asked for directions to the market. He told me but I though I never find it because his directions did not make sense.
Finally I found it and did my purchases and went home very happy. The farmer's market has a lot of produce at reasonable and better quality most of them home grown. I bought my cherries, grapes, tomatoes etc. at a great price unlike the supermarket which prices are ridiculous and the quality not to be trusted. I loved the cheries and the rest of the fruits which I shared with my children. From now on I am going to the Farmer's market and buy my produce there. Safer, cleaner and home grown produce is the way to go.
I thank you God that you directed me to a place I could get my car tires at a good price and that I was able to find the market and get my vegetables. Also, that the car tire did not blow out while I was looking for that other store that sold used tires. Thanks, that my son cut a lot of the tree branches that I could not reach. He did good. He fell of the tree as he was almost close to the ground and rolled unto the ground down a small embarkment. I laughed so hard. He was not hurt, Thank God.
My daughter's ex-boyfriend send her a letter of "how stupid I was to let you go" kind of a sorry for that letter. But she has decided never to go back to him for this is the 3rd time that he brakes up with her stating, "I am sad and I don't know what I want." He had broken her heart too many time.
Now, she is dating another guy who looks nice, is well employed and treats her well. I am glad. She said, "Mom, this is the type of man I have been waiting for a long time." They both came from long term relationships and had broken dreams along with their broken heart. She told me, " Mom, I was praying in the shower, (she is not a praying gal) for I was hurting so bad from the breakup and I asked God, " I you can do anything for me, and make this heartache disappear quickly and stop. At the same time, Darren, the new boy, was praying at home on the same day at 10:00 o'clock at night about the same thing. Asking God, to show him what to do and to find him someone that was good for him and what he wanted. His girlfriend had dumped him again. She has done the dumping game several times and then would come back and kiss and make up. He was hurting hurting just like my daughter. God got them together and now they are very happy with each other and both of their ex's want to kiss and make up but they will not leave each other for them.
