"Go where more people can see your miracles!" they scoffed. "You can't be famous when you hide like this!" "If you are so great, prove it to the world!" But soon it was time for the tabernacle ceremonies, one of the annual Jewish holidays, and Jesus' brothers urged him to go to Judea for the celebration. For even his brothers did not believe in him.
Jesus went to Galilee, going from village to village, for he wanted to stay out of Judea where the Jewish leaders were plotting his death. But after his brothers left for the celebration, then he went too, though secretly, staying out of the public eye. Then midway through the festival, Jesus went up to the Temple and preached openly.

I wonder how Jesus felt about his own brothers mockery. Imagine that! His brothers that new him would not believe in him and made fun of him. Where they jealous of Jesus fame? Did they hate him? How did Mary, his mother, reacted upon hearing their mockery against the Lamb of God! How about Joseph? What did he do? Did he scold his children about their taunting?
I just wonder if anyone stood up for Jesus in his family.
