 Hinduism
Hinduism is one of the oldest religion still practice today in the world, mostly India.  Hindus believe in one God and in many other gods.  The one God is called Brahman, he is the spirit in everything in the universe, people, animals, trees, water, ground stars.  in everything.  Hindus also have thousands upon thousands of other gods.  But there are three main gods most Hindus believe in these three main gods are in charge of the others.  There names are:  Brahma, the creator god, he created everything,  Vishnu is the god that preserves and defends life and Shiva is the god of destruction and new life.

Hindusm has no single leader or teacher.  In Christianity there is Jesus, with the Muslims is Muhammad.  Hinduism does not have a single holy book, they have serveral sacred books.  Christians have the Bible, Muslims have the Qu'ran and the Jewish people have the Hebrew Bible, first part is called the Torah.

Animals are sacred to Hindus.  The cow is the most sacred animal.  They are strictly forbidden to kill a cow or eat the meat.  The river Ganges is considered holy.  Is the longest river in India. Hindus try to make the trip to the Ganges and wash themselves in the water.

Hello smitty: There is no problem in asking what is in your mind. You can ask me anything and I will try to answer as honest as I can and with scriptures and scientific reference to back up my answers. You asked, "but what if the sun is our god? If thiers no sun theirs no life."? There is nothing wrong with questioning things that is how we learn. The problem is when you blindly accept and believe false information such as false doctrines without doing a complete search and investigating on your own the who, what, where and when? A lot of earth inhabitants worshiped the sun as a god in different generetions. That is because back then they had no other information about God. There were no libraries, no other sources where they could read up and investigate what the deal was. They will be judged by a God according to their knowledge, sins and heart. Even though they had no actual knowledge of the scriptures God has always put in humans that intuition, that little voice that tell us who God is. The Sun is a star. A ball of burning gases in space. A star that the earth and other planets revolved around i. God created the Sun to give light to the earth and warm it. It's rays brings life to all living things on thee earth following God's preordained purpose. To worship the Sun as a god is like worshiping a piece of rock in your back yard. It's not a living spirit as God is, it doesn't care about humans or anything. The sun's inner core is nuclear fussion. Is like an immense nuclear reactor with a field of gravity of its own. The sun expands and shoots out fiery radioactive clouds which by God's grace the gravity pulls them back and not lets them all escape into space, if it did we would be history. Some do escape but has not harmed us because we have a screen that protect us from radioactivity and that is our precious God created line of aelf defense against it's radioactivity. I hope that answer helped!
