Quick, Lord, answer me--for I have prayed. Listen when I cry to you for help! Help me. Lord, to keep my mouth shut and my lips sealed. Take away my lust for evil things. I look to you for help, O Lord god. You are my refuge.
Bible: Psalms 141 vs 1 to 8
========
What a month I am having. Sickness after sickness. Solved one problem while another one is hatching and coming my way. Now, I am in so much pain from my son's bear hug. I went to the doctor yesterday. He is the oldest of all the doctors and owns the place I think. He was a joke. I had him before but this time he really ticked me off. My main reason for seeing him at a charge of $65.00 just to walk in and sit in his waiting room, was because of my back injury. When I finally enter the examing room which is of course another waiting room because they make you wait more till the doctor is free to see you. He was surdprise to see me. He was just reading a fax about me concerning a antibiotic that I went to refill on Saturday and now it was Monday and he just had gotten it. He asked me, " Where did you come from?" I half jesting said, "From the moon, another planet?" I said jokingly. I had not idea he was serious. He informed me about the fax and that he didn't know that his next patient was me. It sort of spooked him. He examined me for a viral infection like a bad cold I had visited him for first time and he sat down and renew my prescription for a repeat of the same antibiotic.
I notice he was getting ready to end his visit with me and I quickly told him about my back ache and how it got injured. He acted unimpressed and looked at me as if I was expecting something from him. He checked my back and did a poor job of examining and explaining what the pain was about. I was perplex, what the heck is going on I thought to myself. He mentioned something about not been able to do much of a thing and that if I had an x-ray it would be kind of useless because nothing could be done.
I had to just wait a few weeks. I showed him the prescribed medication I was taking for the pain and he said, "Just continue taking the medication." Again, I rushed to tell him, " This medication was issued in 2005 that was the best pain killer I could use and he just took the vile and wrote a prescription for the same medication. With that, he was out of the room. I was so dissapointed, I put myself through the agony of driving to the darn doctor's office, waiting just to get blown off. That is what it felt like. No real interest on what caused my pain in my back or explanation of how this type of injuries occur or would heal, no instructions on how to deal with the horrendous pain. I was waiting for my bill and to have my prescription faxed to the pharmacy when I started feeling total disgust.
Thinking to myself. I am not going to put up with this crap and ill treatment. I got up and walked back to his office and he was just coming out. I said to him, " I need to know what to do about my back pain"? I proceeded to asked him, "What restrictions or actions for pain relieve I should be taking." He said very little. Just agreeing with my own self instructions and my own diagnosis. For that garvage visit I paid $65.00 I was ticked off. As I was walking out the doctor's office I saw him in the parking lot and again with cross path and he make a little joke the kind that does not make any sense. I realized he was going to lunch and that his terrible medical treatment was because he was in a hurry to go to lunch.
