God does have a sense of humor!
The Lord laughs at him, For He sees his day is coming.
I believe that God has a great sense of humor. Why wouldn't He? After all he made us in his image and we claim that we descendants of monkeys.
He gave Adam and Eve everything good to eat in the Garden of Eve except for that rotten fruit tree. What do they do? They eat from the rotten fruit tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
He offers and gives humans eternal life in you believe in Christ and Him and we rather go to hell.
As God sits back and watches the people he has created and the things they say and do I know he chuckles.
Psalms 37:13
The LORD shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming.
Psalms 59:8
But thou, O LORD, shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the heathen in derision.
Proverbs 1:26
I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; (wisdom speaketh here)
The Lord Jesus told us something about laughter:
He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the LORD shall have them in derision.
James 5:5 Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter.
