Wether you know it or not, we are all disciples of what we believe. If we believe in God and Christ as his only begotten son who died for our sins, we are disciples of our Lord. If you are agnostics, atheist or what ever you call yourself, you are a disciple of such views and beliefs. No one sits on the fence concerning God's truth. You can either be for him or be against him, dark or light, hell or heaven. You make the choice of your eternal destination. Can you afford to be wrong?
Discipleship is sharing and caring. Although we live by faith and not by sight, we demonstrate our faith by loving one another. Jesus said, "By this shall all men know that ye are My disciples, if ye have love one to another" (John 13:35).
It is possible to demonstrate love for our fellowmen and not God. However, it is impossible to love God and not love each other.
"If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?" (1 John 4:20).
In discipleship we learn to love God with all our hearts and manifest this love to each other. Discipleship is not a religion, is a way of life. The goal of a disciple is to follow the teachings, to proclaim and to manifest the things that you hold to be truth according to God's word. Our strength come from the word of God. His word is written in the Holy Bible.
In discipleship you will act what you are. If you worship evil, you will act out evil deeds. If you worship self, then you are the center of your universe and all that you do will be done for your own benefit.
There is no way you can be nothing. By been nothing you are a disciple of a belief. Is up to you to choose light or darkness. Your judgement will be according to your beliefs and your deeds.. Your behavior shows those watching you what you belief. Even if you act like a saint and are a wolf in disguise sooner or later you will show it.
A Christian believes that there is a supreme God, a creator, that he sent his only son, Jesus Christ into the world to save it not to condemn it. By Jesus sacrifice our sins were forgiven, if we confess them. By confession you are made aware of what you have done and the gravity of your sins. You accept the Lord God and his son Jesus Christ as payment for your soul sins. The door is now open for you to have a relationship with your maker.
"No man will enter the kingdom of heaven without first accepting and believing Jesus sacrifice on the cross." If you believe and accept Jesus and his sacrifice you are born into the kingdom of God. If you don't then you made your bed else where.
