 Baptism
Why are little babies baptized? Little children or  babes can be presented to the Lord but not baptized. We need to understand what baptism is and what is stand for. Rituals baptism does nothing for a baby in regards to secure that child the right to enter paradise or heaven and be with Christ Jesus upon his earthly death when he/she reaches the age of awakening to sin and accountability. You can baptize a child and he/she can still grow up to be an unbeliever and receive the consequences of his unbelief after death. Why? Because a baby has no knowledge of sin and God saving grace at that time. Parents cannot by will order salvation on a baby. If the child dies without baptism he immediately goes to be with the Lord. Yet, even though he is born with the sin of Adam and Eve God does makes proper distinction and permits his entrance into his kingdom. Why? Because a cannot be held accountable for rejecting Christ and his sacrifice do to his age. He/she did not get the chance to learn about Jesus and his father and was able to make a decision whether to accept or reject the blood of Christ.  We can present the child to God but we cannot save him/her from future destination.

It is not biblical. Even Jesus was baptized after he was a grown man. by John the baptist.  Baptism is a self personal decision of faith. When a person understand the consequences of his sinful life and repents and accepts the Christ and his blood sacrifice for the salvation of his soul. This person has learned and accepted Jesus and his father as the only way of salvation. Jesus paid for our sins on his own body by his own blood that belief is credited to the person who repents and accepts the truth of the gospel.

Hello Lance: Thank you for your comments. You said..."you do not know the any History
of the "Church" I am well aware of the history of the church and middle ages practices concerning the salvation of children and love ones. Yet that does not change what the Bible says. The Bible and human ways of obtaining salvation are always in conflict. Yet, we know that God has a different way of thinking. Religion and God at always at war for religion is man made while the truth of God is His alone.
