Some people fail to recognize, accept, interpret, understand miracles and labeled them mere coincidence or a freak of nature. Been able to see miracles for what they really are, "Divine Intervention", they quickly give it a mundane unimportant label. There are many kinds of miracles witnessed every day. You see them in nature, in the cosmics, in the seas in humans and even in our on back yard or place of employment.
In the medical field most doctors often are skeptical of healing miracles and quickly dismissed them with the quote, "the power of the body to heal itself", even though it was a disease or an injury that challenge their medical expertise. Who, gave the body the power to heal itself and who can revoke that power?
I read about a man who was pronounced deceased, while yet still alive, by the doctors. His life energy was not visible and his body signs were so faint that they did not register in the doctor's medical equipment. Yet, he was still alive and trapped by a paralysis that unable him to communicate. Inside his body his mind was alert and screaming for help. He knew what was happenning.
He could hear his wife and children sobbing by his side. As his wife leaned over to plant on his cheek a final goodbye kiss , before he would be taken down to the morgue, he felt the hot tears dropping out of his beloved wife's eyes and hitting gently on his face. His emotional outburst was so intense it gave birth to a spiritual scream that no one could hear except his maker. His mind and spirit spiraled into an unstoppable earth shaking, diluage of sobbing. His tears broke through his closed eyelids and streamed from his closed eyes down his face. It was a miracle!
His wife saw his tears streaming out of his closed eyes unto his face and recognized that something was not right and screamed for the nurse who came rushing in and so did the doctors at the sound of such a forceful cry. The wife screamed at the nurses in a frenzy, "He is crying, my husband is crying." Yes, with that miracle of tears the doctors could recognized there the man was still alive because dead people don't cry. But they could not speak nor move, now they were paralized, frozen in place as they witnessed this miracle.
The nurse who was more keen and aware rushed to take his vital signs and reconnected all the previously disconnected medical machines that just a few moments before would not registered any kind of life. This time it was different, those machines started registering his vital signs and his heartbeat became stronger and was registered in the cardiac machine.
Within minutes his eye lids fluttered and he opened his eyes. Unbelieveable but true. The man was alive. Doctors could not explain that a man they pronounced finished, gone was now awake and staring at them.
The miracle of love a human emotion that over powers hate and disbelief. Love, that special feeling that makes the world go around. Love, the force that drove a man thousands of years ago to suffer and die a horrible death when he did not have to, in order to give us a chance on knowing God mercy and true love of the human race.
I know this to be true for I had a brother in a coma and when I went to visit and my family and I were overwhelmed by emotions, my brother cried. Tears came right out of his eyes and we saw it. So did the nurse who was standing by at his hospital bed in the intensive care unit. She said to us, "Yes, he is crying." He can hear you, but he cannot move or open his eyes." His spirit was alive and could see and hear us even though his eyes were closed and he could not speak nor move. Soon after he awoke from his comma and was completely healed from an unknown illness that attacked his body and put him in a comatose state. Thank God for giving him a second chance and letting us have our brother back. I believe in miracles!!!
