| A True Prophet |
Prophesy is more than history written in advance; it is the completion of a story. When a person is giving predictions he/she is prophesying. The test of a true prophet is very simple. If their predictions come to pass exactly as they foretold then he/she is a true prophet. But it most be every single time. It cannot be after the fact or half true. The postdiction is a very popular way to scam the public. The false prophet makes a prediction and attaches that prediction to something that happened before. That false prophet also fails many times in his so called predictions. Well, there is your proof that he/she is a liar a fake.
In the biblical times a prophet was not just a man with the capacity to see the future. He was man set apart for God. He was the voice of God. All his predictions had to be one hundred percent true. No allowances for errors. The penalty was horrible for a false prophet. Stoning to death is a horrible way to die.
Today false prophets are a dime a dozen. All they are after is our hard earned dollars. Why people choose to pay a medium or fortune teller to tell them about their future is ignorant. If this person can tell the future why don't they guess the lottery numbers and become rich. There is your answer. Liars, fakers all are false prophets. If you want to know your future ask God. He will tell you.
