 A new generation
Last night a friend send me a link to watch on "Your Tube."  It was about this 2 year old little girl singing the Lord's Prayer.  It was adorable, funny and so precious.  She not only sang that song but others and she put so much emphasis into the right words as the music has it.  After I finished watching her videos and flipping pages getting ready to leave the site  I came across an image of a very emanciated dog, labeled "art."   Some fiend had tied up this poor creature and forbid anyone to feed it or give it water.  The poor dog was tied up with a short cord and left there to starve and die of thirst.  As he linger in torment people would go to this place and watch this so called art,  not even caring about the animals suffering.  Not a single person did anything to stop this horrible act of cruelty.  After the dog died the so called artist announced that he would get another animal for his next art show in 2008.

This monster so called artist is in another country.  But they are supposed to be civilized and this fiend is in the circle of the educated, better part of society.  After watching that, which I shouldn't because it upset me so much.  But you know how it is, you come accross something you should not read or watch but you just cannot stop watching or reading it.  My total discipline against such things has not been been totally learned yet.  Gosh, I hate cruelty to animals, children, people, elderly any kind of cruelty and disrespect for nature enfuriates me.  The killing for gorillas for their hands, to make them into ashtrays, elephants to take their tusk for objects of ivory, whales for oil anddeforestation, poisoning our rivers and oceans.

It is true, we have in our midst an evil kind of animal.   Thos who think that they are above God's creation.  We are part of His creation, we belong with the rest of the bunch, we too will die.  Some people think that the world will go on forever.  That our civilization will not end.  But why not?  What set us apart from other living animals and plants, or nature that God created.  What?  Because we have a brain and can reason and walk upright?

This world will end.  Not only our way of life and our civilization but the world in itself.  Everything dies and becomes another form of energy or matter.  Our offenses against God are piled up to the heavens.  We are mortal like every living thing in this planet.  We don't own planet earth, we are part of the ecology, part of the order of things.

You have made him (man-humans) to have dominion over the works of  Your hands;   You have put all things under his feet,   All sheep and oxen---Even the beast of the field, The birds of the air,   And fish of the sea.
Bible:   Psalm:  8  verses 6, 7, 8

Yes, God left us in charge of his creation but not to abuse it, change it's dna, destroy it or do as we please in disregard for its care.  We are supposed to tend it and care for it.
