A new birth consist of a new beginning in spirit. The old spirit of rebellion must be conquered and not allowed to remain in action in a persons life. Passing into a new way of life and laying a new uncorruptable foundation of self. Evidences of a new birth are acknowledge in the view of new experiences, new actions, and is made manifest by a constant way the newly created person behaves in expression, speech and action. It is a personal willing acceptance of a new life in Christ.
An inward manifestation becomes an outward manifestation. This change must produce a positive results in spiritual and moral conduct. All things that contradict a person spiritual new birth must be put aside, put away, discarded. The old way of living cannot be kept and must be dealt with, associations and habits that corrupt your spirit must be trashed.
Walking in positive action reinforces your new spiritual growth. For example: Your core values must match your new regeneration. The person must now embrace virtue, temperance, patience, godliness, brotherliness and charity. Primary changes will come in valor, courage, which in turn produces firmness, moral stability, concious inner stregth, endurance in the face of trials and strains, turning away from temptations by moral disciplines, and good cheer. The intelligence that allows a new birthed person will show itself in spiritual discernment and is the basis for self-discipline followed by wise action, good common sense, positive management of self, skills in learning to combat the enemy of your soul.
Your new birth starts with confession, repentance, and acknowledgement of our sinful lives to our Lord Jesus Christ. A strong inner desire to cast away the old sinful habits of the old life. Believing and accepting Jesus Christ as the only son of God accompanied by the knowledge of that God, the father, in his grace and mercy has giving us sinners a chance of reconcilliation and salvation via the sacrifice of his only son on the cross. All possible through the death of his only son, Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God. Mouth confession of your faith in Christ, his precious blood and the power it has to save and forgive is a must.
In the Bible: Romans 10:9,10 it reads..."That if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, though shalt be saved". In simpler terms, It you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead you will be save.
We must all remember that we will have set back and will fall into sin but that we can go boldly to the throne of God and thru Jesus blood seek forgiveness. We are all sinners and we will sin for it is our nature but by accepting Jesus way of life and his death for the forgiveness of our transgression we become aware of his love and mercy and we will not want to stay in a sinful life nor grieve the Holy Spirit that now resides in our soul. We won't make a habit to practice sinful behaviors.
