 So far so good
Seeing as I don’t have a lot of time to dedicate to this article due to a full schedule, today’s entry is going to be short and sweet!

So far so good
By Alicia Haefele

BATON ROUGE, La. – At the opening of the regular legislative session Monday, Jindal met with both chambers to ask approval of a plan that will greatly improve the quality of life in Louisiana.

Jindal’s plan is to merge numerous existing programs in the Louisiana Workforce Commission. If this is done right, the new programs will replace the state Department of Labor. Jindal also wishes to distribute money to states technological and community colleges.

“If we do not dramatically transform the way we train our high school graduates, the gap between the skills of our work force and the work will widen and cripple our economy," Jindal said. "More Louisiana families will continue to leave our state in search of opportunities to pursue their dreams. That changes, starting now."

Way to go Jindal!! It’s easy to stay on track in the special sessions, but it’s much more difficult to do so in the regular sessions. Keep up the good work!!
