Agency:  Rock the Vote

Numbers affect our everyday lives, so here are some numbers you should consider.
-Did you know there are currently 41.9 million young adults which is 19% of the US population?
-There are also 35 million children under 17 in the US.
-When those children become of voting age, combined the group will be 82 million strong which is more than the states of California, Texas, and New York combined.
-Voting has been on the downfall for the past ten years. The upcoming 2008 presidential election is said to affect our country more than any other election in the past.
-So, will your voice be heard when the election comes?
-Go online to www.rockthevote.org and get information on how to register in your state.
-Don’t just be another number, get out and vote and make your mark. ROCK THE VOTE in 2008.
