Ever wonder why people act different around others and how they really act? I always wonder that, whether it's at school or even at my own house, you never know what people are really like...

i think is is human nature to an extent. we act differently around our grandparents than we do our friends on a late saturday night. this aspect of our different faces is quite normal and i don't see it as completely hypocritical.

I agree, it's human nature mostly. How we behave with other people is often reflective of how the person were interacting makes us feel too. If you're uncomfortable with that person then you will be more reserved for example.
Sometimes it's situational as well, you wouldn't talk with people at work in the same way you would with family and friends.
Complex creatures us human beings!! :)

I agree,it def has to do with human nature. Human nature causes people to want to impress or be praised or just plain be liked and sometimes when someone is not in there comfort zone they will obtain uncharecteristic traits and will come off as being fake or two-faced among the multiple names of such actions. humans are not one dementional we have many sides and who we are and how we act is situational.

It's true. When we know people well, we know what makes them happy and unahappy. Certain things get my Mom upset and puts her in a negative frame of mind, so when I am around her, I avoid those things. Doesn't mean I'm a hypocrit. I just choose to see my Mom happy and positive rather than negative.
