The winding road was ending when Nannie looked around/Trying to find the best place to put the ghostship down/When she noticed on the ghostline a message had come through/From St Peter that this vessel is subject to review.
It said that this catastrophie has the saints nerves raw/Sailing on the horizon, winter, summer, spring and fall/And that Nannie's humor is not to heavens taste/Even worse is Sir John whho won't take second place.
The saint can't believe the passengers attracted to this mass/All colors, creeds and races, the rich and poor do pass./He takes a shot at Wattapesr saying if you can't keep him home/At least find him another place to go outside to roam/
The grievance list continues, things he believes will bring him down/Suffice to say that Nannie won't be taking this one on the ground./On his list of no-no's is the music boss moanin in his face/Who does he think I went to for help with this peice?
I shouted on arrival,Don't hide behind the gate/Nannie came here personally just to answer your complaints/ I noticed on approaching this is mostly maned by men/Representive of the earth below,What a state it's in !If you want Nannie's opinion ,this place is rather dull/That 's how we got such big names in the lineup for our show/For example among the elders we have the God of Hallowe'en/On earth he did much better on the motionpicture screen.
Wattapest wasn't on our planning list when we started out/ A big shot law enforcement ghost is who bought him about/a tale about a bi-gone age he's rumored to relate/What can be dragged into the White House ought to be good enough for the gate.
Trying to keep this vessel from sinking tops the list of all turmoil/There is no place in creation that I can find to rest awhile/Finding a berth for this vessel I admit is rather tough/The captain said the White House is barely good enough.
The dialogue got broken when the music man rose too/He beckoned the saints attention to the coming chosen few/They came in a-singin-hymns sounded all around/They approached the Pearly Gates, their hands out for their crowns.
"St Peter,he said ,It's not the sinless that this music man condemns/You'll noticed that few strugglers comes with the best of them/If you care to look below ,the earths a basket case/Sorrowful as it is to see.it's only getting worse.
A task in stress for common folk ,the rightful path to know./we trust that they'll enjoy the music, skits and politics we've selected for our show/Unflawless as this proposal is ,in time you will agree? You are looking at The Golden Rose on the sinners stormy sea.
