 Hey it's me, abbynormal! last night we went to the StarPlaza in Merrillville,IN--an awesome place,really. You all should check it out sometime. ANYWAY, we took our daughter to see the infamous, Doodlebops, of Playhouse Disney fame!! One I would like to say it was a great show! Very entertaining,fun and all of the kids loved it!!! The parents actually had a blast too. No bones about it the show was directed only at the kids as it should be but the group is so talented the parents liked it too!
Abby is pretty sure this troup of ,DeeDee,Rooney and Moe has been theatrically trained on dance and singing. Moe has some percussion talent and is the only one who actually plays an instrument at least on stage. And Moe is very gymnastically talented too; backflips,jumps,cartwheels you name it!! I love their harmonizing,dancing and silliness! Abby has a few favorite songs by the Doodlebops too!  One mommy was truly rockin' out in the seat in front of me!!! Yay for her!!! Sooo,it was a good nite!!
Now the only problem Abby had with this show wasn't even with the show itself!!!(what?? you thought I wasn't going to bitch about something!!! Ha! silly you!!!! ) There were some parents who brought their kids who were WAY to little to enjoy it and were probably falling asleep before it was over! It seemed to be a free for all for most of the toddlers-screaming,yelling,talking--at times it was a constant din of voices. I looked around and most all of the kids 3 and up were just about nuts with joy!!! The younger ones not so much. I wonder what comes over some people with kids--"yeah,let's take little Myron to the concert! He loves the Doodlebops! He is only 10 months old but he'll LOVE it!! Oh,let's make sure he naps so he can make it until 9p.m. or later! Oh, how fun for him!!!"   Get a brain people!! PLEASE!!! Sometimes your little ones are just that,LITTLE ONES!!! They'll forgive you for not going to the Doodlebops when they were a year old--if they even remember at all. So Abby's review would be: Doodlebops 5 Stars*****,Parents 2 Stars**!! This is the gospel according to AbbyNormal,rock on!

The Doodlebops are so cute.
I'm glad there are shows like that out now instead of Barney...I always found him a little creepy.

yeah,Barney can be just a little too nice,even for abby,if ya know what I mean? But his main message about love and families was always a good thing!
