It is about an hour and 10 minutes to a new New Year's and my boyfriend just walked by me completely naked and on the phone. It is snowing outside and I am beginning to wonder what will unfold for me in the year to come. I am the kind of girl who tries to take things day by day, but I cannot help but wonder about what the future holds for me. Will I be happy? Will I be successful? Will I feel content? These are all questions to be answered in the year to come. The only thing I know for certain is that this year I want to be completely true to myself. Whatever emotion I am feeling, I want to own it, not avoid it, and live in the moment. Sometimes I wonder about what it is out there that will truly make me happy, but I have the feeling it will lie within myself and my own actions.
