| Haunting Ghost in the Horizon

In the distance
bleak and endless time
never ending
infinite as the universe
(oh, but is that so?)
In beauty lies no truth
cast away such folly
(love is that folly)
Empty as barren lands
The coldness that has consumed
A gaze as blank as stone white wall
(that shall never fall)
Ghost creeping up from hidden shadows
even in the white wash they hide
they were always lurking somewhere inside
seizing the heart
such fresh pain of an open wound
(stand steady, don't you swoon, it'll pass.. oh yes it'll pass)
Let it devour
then let it go.
(And fade to black.)
...Oh, and another love lost to the sea.
