Jake woke up and found himself in the arms of a giant alien slug creature. Yuck! The slug creature's name was Hargold. Hargold told Jake that he saw some pods appear in the sky and they were scanning the area. One of the pods was damaged and the others seemed to be trying to handle it. The damaged pod seemed to have a life of its own.
Hargold then attacked that group of pods and the damaged pod spit out Jake. That was how Hargold came to find Jake. Jake explored the area he was in and saw that most of the place was dominated by swampy forest. There were strange sounds, creatures, and plants that he had never seen before. The sky was purple and the sun was red. This was an alien planet or was he (Jake) the alien?
Hargold, the alien slug creature, had wings on his (it was a male creature) back. The three wings flapped rapidly and Hargold carried Jake off to the place where he lived. This place was a very smelly underground cavern. There were other slug creatures who lived in here and they all looked at Jake as he and Hargold passed them by. Hargold took Jake to their leader.
The leader saw Jake and told him that he had to get married to one of their kind in order to remain on the planet otherwise he would have to leave. Jake said that he was having too much fun being single so he wondered if they could give him a ride back to Earth. They told him they did not have the technology needed to travel in outer space so he was going to have to remain here which meant getting married to a female alien slug. Oh no! That's what Jake thought at this point.
