Jake spent the entire night talking with friends on the phone. The phone that he was using was a futuristic alien-looking thing that plugged into his ears. This phone was supplied by the pod. He was now relaxing in a chair and was eating french fries and drinking soda. What a way to spend a night!
He found out that the pod could travel at amazing speeds and he could go anywhere he wanted. He went to China and saw Hong Kong city. He went to Russia and visited Moscow. He went to Europe and cruised through France, Spain, Italy, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
Unfortunately, some aliens from outer space (these guys were really ugly and upset) did not approve of Jake using their technology without their permission. They went after him in one of their pods and Jake was on the run from them. They knew how to handle their pod better than Jake new how to handle his (or the one he "stole" from them).
Jake commanded the pod to travel as fast as it could to the Indian Ocean and submerge itself, going deep to reaching the ocean floor. The aliens could track this pod and it did not take long for them to catch up to Jake. Two more alien pods came to their assistance and even though Jakes pod put up a good laser fight, they "man-handled" the pod and took it back to their home planet with Jake in it.
