| Cherishing this utter bliss!!!

So this could possibly have been one of the greatest nights of my life. On paper, it doesn't look that special, but holllllllllllllly crap.
So the infamous Kelly had some problems with her douchebag ex boyfriend. He was a nice guy at first, but he lied to her a couple times about "tutoring" a particularly "free" girl, some nights until 11 pm, so she didn't have any more of that. So he went back to Mexico for Christmas to be with his mom, and before he left she broke things off, rightfully so.
I took the opportunity to see if she wanted to spend some time over the break, maybe go to lunch or something. Soooo we went to dinner tonight, and I almost flipped out on the way to the restaurant I was so nervous. I reminded myself that we were really good friends and I had no reason to be nervous, so the night went really smoothly. When I dropped her off at home, she asked me what day I left for my soccer tournament, and before I could ask, SHE made plans to go out again before I left. I had to strain every muscle in my jaw not to smile ear to ear
Throughout the entire dinner, there was a lot of smiling, good conversation, and I just can't get over how unbelievably perfect we get along. There are no awkward silences, no weird looks, nothing. It's comfortable and fun. Whether it's considered a date or not, no night will top the way I felt tonight (unless there are furthur nights with Kelly, of course)
Oh sweet bliss, this is amazing
