 By YWGO

Recall and Review of the 7 Churches: (Book of Revelations Chapter 2 & 3)

Assembly(Church) at Ephesus-Loveless

Yeshua (Jesus) is:

The One who has a firm grasp on the seven stars in his right hand – the One who walks among the seven golden Menorahs

The Assemby's situation and behavior:

4. Hated Nicolation doctrine
5.Endured tests without wearying
  • Told to Repent of lost love & warned that its Menorah would be removed if it did not repent!
  • Promised that anyone who overcomes, Yeshua would permit them to eat from the tree of life that is in the paradise of God.

*Strong tone to (Shema)listen and obey the Holy Spirit’s words!

1. Insulted and persecuted by anti-Yeshua religious non-belevers
2. Poor
  • Told they would be tested by the adversary with a period of time in prison. Remain faithful even to the death
  • Promised Crown of Life.

*Strong tone to (Shema)listen and obey the Holy Spirit’s words!

Assembly(Church) at Pergamos-Compromising with Adversary

the One who has the sharp double-edged sword

5. Taught Nicolation doctrine
  • Told to Repent & warned that He would make war on them.
  • Promised white stone, with new mystery name.

*Strong tone to (Shema)listen and obey the Holy Spirit’s words!

Assembly(Church) at Thyatira-Corrupt

Yeshua (Jesus) is:
the Son of God, the One who has eyes like a fiery flame and whose feet are like polished bronze

The Assemby's situation and behavior:

1. Deeds: love, faith, service.
2. Steadfast endurance.
3. Increased in greater righteous deeds
4. Tolerated Jezebel prophetess teaching deceived servants to commit sexual immorality and to eat food sacrificed to idols.
  • Told that Jezebel is given time to Repent, but would not repent of sexual immorality. He will cause her to and her followers to be bed ridden with violent illness, and those who commit adultery with her into terrible suffering, unless they repent of her teachings. It will be a sign to all the churches that Yeshua searches minds and hearts. He will repay each one of their deeds. Those who don’t: keep her teachings & don’t keep the “deep secrets of the adversary”. No further burdens. Hold on to His commands until He comes.
  • Promised if they continue in Yeshua’s deeds until the end, He will give them authority over the nations and the morning star.

  • Promised that those worthy will not have their names erased from the Book of life and Yeshua will declare their names before Adoni Elohim and before His angels.

*Strong tone to (Shema)listen and obey the Holy Spirit’s words!

Yeshua will keep them from the hour of testing that is coming on the whole world to test those who live on the earth. He is coming soon. Recall, Review, Repent

Some Bible Scholars note that these 7 churches represent several examples of the different “Christian Church Ages” and their personality phases that they went through since the Holy Spirit fell on the Apostles in Jerusalem. On a more personal level these churches represent individual Christian or Messianic behavior. This is a more serious view of the Seven churches(Assembles) because they represent the idea of personally associating with Yeshua Ha Maschiach’s New Covenant has eternal blessings and cursing based our behavior and actions.

Yeshua is discerning and judging our actions right now. He is searching our
hearts and minds, weighing our decisions, and giving us feedback on our good works, yet is strongly directing us to turn from foolish sins that are contrary to the Torah and His finished work of Atonement. He is speaking to us daily and asking us to open up our lives and fellowship with Him through His Holy Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh).

The New Testament was written to Jews, Lost Israelites and Gentile believers in Yeshua. It was all based on moral choices and living found in the TANKH (OT). These assemblies went wrong in allowing foreign teaching and unbelievers influence their worship of Yeshua and His work through them. Only 2 out 7 assemblies (churches) were commended and given a strong blessing “if they overcame”…Yeshua commends all of them, but also rebukes their shortcomings that will prevent them from overcoming their situations.

Notice the issues of:

1. Loveless ness
2. Compromising or Collaorating with Satan’s teachings and lifestyle.
3. Corrupted by spirit of anti-Torah, sexual false doctrine, satan’s secret gnosis-“magic” and controlling doctrine .
4. Spiritually Dead
5. Lukewarm.

These scriptures outline correction of behavior for Christians in sin.
1 Corinthians 13(Love), Hebrews 11 and 1 Peter 3 &4 teaches enduring persecution, correction, discipline and persecution. Romans 6, Galatians 3-5 Colossians 2-3 outlines compromising, corrupt, spiritually dead and lukewarm behavior. Paul to write those letters to correct the churches behavior. Yeshua spoke of the narrow road, with many on the broad road. Many in the church simply will not be saved. (Matthew 7-13&14 Luke 13: 23 & 24). This is a reoccurring warning throughout the New Testament.

*Notice all the churches have good deeds like the Matthew 7 and 25 Gospel accounts, yet those that lived lawless and loveless lifestyles were cast away from Him in judgment. Obviously, good deeds did not please Him. The Old and New Testment theme of "repentance before sacrifice" is seen in His counseling of the churches as God did with Israel in their works.

These behavioral issues transgress the 10 commandments and many of the 613 commandments that Yeshua is judging their actions by. He shows them how they can succeed in overcoming by  Repenting and listening to the Holy Spirit. His voice can be heard through His written word also. No where is He telling them that Grace gives them right to continue in sin or capitualte with the devil's lifestyles. Enduring persecution even, to the death is the goal of witnessing for Yeshua.

*As Beleivers in Yeshua(Jesus), we must ask ourselves some Questions:
  • Which (Assembly) Church do I belong too?
  • Am I really Saved from God's Wrath?
  • Do I have Love?
  • Do I really follow God's plan for my life?
  • Have I turned away from tresspassing His Laws?
  • Have I set in mind to endure and overcome persecution?
  • Am I "of the" 2 that Yeshua commends or 5 that He rejects.
  • Am I (Shema)listening to the Holy Spirit?
Conclusion

The letter of Revelations (Unveiling) brings out the fact that everyone will be tested in this life, some more than others, yet Yeshua gives strength and wisdom to overcome. The Holy Spirit is there to set our lives apart, so we can grow spiritually and die to ourselves. This is what allows Him work through our situations. Adoni Elohim's promises never fail. We all must trust in Him whatever the situation and pray for guidance from His voice. Yeshua wants us to allow Him to work God’s plan through our lives. He cannot if we are retrapped in sin.

Therefore, the enduring message of Yeshua is for those of us that set our wills to overcome, He will reward and bless us beyond our dreams and imagination. We are not of this earth.  We have our citizenship in the Kingdom of God (Elohim). Surely His Kingdom and Mercy endures forever…
