Critique
Macbeth
This critique is on Jeol Cohen who played Duncan and the old man in the production of Macbeth. On Friday May 23, 2008. Macbeth was written by William Shapkespeare.
Joel cohen's goals for Duncan where a little hard to find but i think it was to proctect his children the kindom. I think he felt that the kindom was his children and he was only trying to do what was best for them.
The goals for the old man was to proect his son from evil, and to worn him of the dangers ahead.
his obsticals as Duncan was that he had a bunch of yes men. they did what they where told but never helped him run the contrey to the fullest. and that he believed everything that the people said.
the obsticals for the old man was that he was a feble old man, he wanted to proctect but he couldn't, and not a lot of peopled lessoned to him since he was an old man.
his phical choices that he made for Duncan was very prober. he walked eligantly like he was walking on glass. and the way the tuched things or people was the same, that they were so fragial that if he tuched them to hard they would break into a thousand pieces.
the phical choices that he made for the old man was he limped and didn't have much presences.
the part of Duncan and the old man worked for Joel Cohen because he's in his early 70s' and those parts are made for older people.
i felt that the performaces where a success in many ways because even though they were both small parts he played them to the fullest. he had different tactics and obsticals and phical choices for both people. even though they were complitly different parts he didnt let it show.
