Colengay says that it takes a lot of imagination because you got to think of different ways besides the clear ones writin in the script. you got think like the character to imagen that you are them and take on their personality through the script.
some options that i could have played was just the mother figure trying to provent something happening between Katie and Eddie. or playing just the jelous wife of someone younger. that i really didnt care or that i was too busy to care whats going on in their lifes.
i made the choice that i made because of the history of the character. shes a mother figure to katie and shes also a woman living in a house so i have to help her undersand that shes a grown woman not a little girl. she has to start thinking like a woman.
