I was watching Good Morning America and a certain story got my attention. As for most of you that know nothing about me........I'm not a T.V. person. Anyway, there was this story about this group of people who call themselves "POLYGAMISTS" ( i'm not sure on the spelling so for give me). Now before I say anymore I want all of you to know I have read about this so called religion and i apologize to anyone I may offend . On Wikipedia its says that the religion of poligamy is a "form of marriage in which a person [has] more than one spouse." In my opinion that is fucked up. If I had to share my man with another woman or other women and having knowledge that he was sexually interqacted with these women I would be pissed. It also says that polygamy is the practice of marriage to more than one spouse simultaneously. Historically, polygamy has been practiced as polygyny (one man having more than one wife), or as polyandry (one woman having more than one husband), or, less commonly as "polygamy" (one person having many wives and many husbands at the same time). Now before you get pissed and say oh yourjust judging before you know what is actually going on. I am going to have to stop you and say WHAT THE FUCK??!!!!! LMAO
Im sorry if you think this is ok but I dont I think one husband should have one wife and one wife should have one husband. Thats just my opinion.
The more I looked into this story I was surprised at these women, they way they acted and the way they spoke. They acted as if we or should i say Texas was the bad person.
Ok well before I go on I should tell you what actually happen LOL that would help wouldn't it. A 16 year old girl called 911 and she said that her husband yes i said husband a 50 year old man was sexually abusing her and was beating her when he would get mad. Even outside of this religion that is wrong. So now the police, swat team, and other terms of authority went inside this community and took 416 children away from their mothers. Ok i think they could have thought of a better way to settle this than doing that. Its like saying one person made the mistake but everyone is going to pay for it. So now we have all these children and mothers freaking out because these people have come and taken all of their children and no one has no idea what the hell is going on.
I have really mixed emotions about this one, on one hand im like ok all these people are really brain washed and need to read a history book but at the same time Im like damn I feel bad for them.
Ok now im gunna pick on them just a little bit... I mean it wouldn't be me if I didn't.
They look like the cast from Little House on the Prarie. Im mean shit its the 21st century.
