Stop animal abuse, uncontrolled animal birth, and dog tethering now!
Animal abuse includes hurting your animal or ANY animal in any way! Physically and mentally. Do you yell at your dog for peeing on the floor and punch him or kick him? Thats animal abuse! Do you ignore your animal all day and if it whimpers you put them outside? Thats animal abuse! Im just a teenager but Im a teenager who cares. I see pictures and videos of animals who are sad EVERYWHERE! Even if I dont want to. There are adoption commercials and animal rescuing commercials. Pictures by random people online that show you a dog who's ribs are showing through their skin. The show animal cops. It makes me so sad and the people who do that to them makes me sick! Who doesnt love a cute little stray kitten with one limp arm? Nobody! Who doesn't love the person who did that to the kitten? Everybody....see my point? Stop it. Just stop it. Not saying everybody abuses animals but a LOT of people do. So if you hurt your pet or any stray animal, even if they arent stray and you do it then stop! And for the ones who don't do it, then dont start! Now onto uncontrolled animal birth. Peta.org's website explains how there are at least 6 or 7 million animals who cant have a home. "Well I want to have one but I cant because I cant afford one in my house hold." You might say. You dont have to have a million cats to save animals. Well peta says "You can help keep dogs and cats from suffering from homelessness by promoting spaying and neutering." So do that. I dont really know what that means EXACTLY or how to explain it and nobody will explain it to me but you should get it so do it if itll help animals from being homeless. There is an over population of animals, mostly pets, so you could really do that to help! Peta even said it was the number one way to decrease homelessness and the population. Now onto what most people call Dog "tethering". And no it doesnt have to do with dog's teeth. Its when a dog's owner puts their dog on a chain and the dog doesnt come inside at all. They just sleep outside or in a pen, eat outside, and alltogether live outside. Sometimes the dog's skin actually starts to grow around the chain! That is also a huge sign of neglect also. A lot of times the dogs do not know when someone wants to love on them and they are very agressive which can be very dangerous. Dog tethering is also bad for the enviornment because the...well....species and urine if you want to use the scientific word for it. Also if the dog gets sick, unlike humans, it doesnt have a toilet or trashcan when it's lunch comes up stream now does it? Again I say STOP IT! There was this man who were these people's neighbor and he watched the dog suffer and starve for four weeks and did nothing about it. What else does he do? Grab popcorn and sit in front of the window while a little boy gets ran over? Here are some things you could do to help the dog out when you see dog tethering going on.
