Hey Vi--
Emo to me is a lifestyle as well. It's not just a phase, or a trend. Emo is who i am. I'm depressed, I'm a cutter, bangs in the eyes, black hair. That's what i believe emo is.

Emo to me is not just a trend.
it is a state of mind. Being depressed almost all the time, longing to be loved. I think people can be emo & not even know it. you don't have to wear clothes that are considered "emo" i think the emo clothes are just somthing you wear to show you are in that state of mind. i think thats what emo is.

EMO is the worst word for a TREND every. ALL MUSIC is Emotinal in one way or another. If you sad depressed and 'longing to be loved" Get off of your ass and do somethign besides sit in your room in the darking listening to stupid wanna be hard boybands singing about broken hearts. Go out and do soemthing with your life. When did 'cutting' become popular. You should smack the shit out of yourself. Way to use a lable that half of the world uses to desrirbe who you are...
