View Blog    Hypergraphia...It got me I can’t believe this whole time I’ve been living with this disease and had no idea I even had it! I have so many emotions running through my soul since I’ve discovered this about myself. I knew something was different about me. The urge to write always there in my mind. Even now, at this moment. Obviously. On Sunday I took a notebook out to the lake as my husband and I relaxed. Like I do everywhere we go. I ended up with pages full of stories that I started and put a line through each one. The whole time feeling like I must write! And when I did, it still wasn’t enough. I even confided in my husband. “Give me something to write about. Anything!” Hours later the urge still there. It’s always been there. I had no idea about Hypergraphia. I’m really beside myself…with more thoughts than ever before. How come I never knew about this? How come I never even thought to check on it? With journals piled in corners of the room, under the bed, in boxes, on my entertainment center, not to mention all my blogs I have on different sites online and then there are the ones that I’ve saved on my desktop not to share with others for fear of embarrassment. You would have thought I might have figured this out years ago. So now what? It is a period of time that one goes through a phase much like Hypergraphia. How ever it comes and goes, like the seasons... I go through writers seasons.
