Father, You Must
Father, you must understand I have no clue how to be a daughter.
You must not ever cry for my lack of love for you, because I have indeed picked that up from you.
You must know how I feel right?
You must realize my beauty comes from within. I get that from my heavenly father, not you.
You must see that my ability to charm and mesmerize people is something I've trained myself to do, with out you.
You must hear me when I tell you, I forgive you.
You must listen when i say softly that forgiving doesn't mean forgetting.
You must sense the pain in my soul for you are the one who caused this pain. You do sense it don't you?
You must sense it so you will better understand.
You must read these words and value the time I'm thinking of you. This time may come and go.
Whatever you do father, you must, you must, know that I've always longed for you. I suppose I've always loved you. I've indeed loved the idea of you, even though I thought for 28 years you were indeed deceased. I'm holding on to the thought of God has a plan and you just were not in mine until now. I'm also holding onto the thought that God gives us choices.
Father you must empahize this, I'm not so certain I can choose you.
Love,
Your Daughter
