Okay, this has me somewhat baffled (and, I admit, a touch annoyed).
I had submitted a story to Ficlets called She Said So..., I had liked it enough that did a sequel to it. Someone had mentioned that they were looking forward to Part III. I hadn't intended to write a Part III, but it got me thinking. And writing. And writing. And writing. And, eventually, this little story became an 8 part posting. I call the full story Her Voice, and have the titles showing which part they are. And at least 1/2 dozen people have read each part of the story. Except, of course, part 3, which not one person has read, naturally.
Wait. Hold on. What did I just say?
Okay, if you're reading a story, and the title includes what part of the story you're on, wouldn't it make sense to make sure you read, oh, I don't know, all of the parts?!
As I said before, I'm kind of annoyed about this, because I think Part III is actually one of the best sections of the story.
Ah, well. At least people are reading them and, apparently, enjoying them.
I guess, in the end, that's the important part. That I'm entertaining people. After all, that's why I'm doing these stories to begin with.
