 Yay for today!
Today has been a good day so far.  I've just been sitting around in my jammies all day, and its been good.  I've done a lot of homework, and have quite a bit left that I want to do tonight, so I'll see how far I get.

We just had dinner: Greek chicken that I made in the Crock Pot.  It was really yummy!  James loved it.  The chicken was really tender.  You didn't even need a knife.  I'll have to make it again.

Homework has been going well today.  I probably made over two hundred flashcards today for my medical terminology class.  Craziness.  Just making them helps me remember the terms better.  I have an outline to do tonight on a chapter from one of my veterinary principles class that's due on Monday.  Should go pretty quick.  I missed a couple of days of that class this week, and I'm worried about it.  I don't know what we covered and what of it will be on the midterm next week.  That's right, midterms next week!!  I can't believe I'm already almost halfway though the quarter!  I thought this quarter was going to be nightmarish, but it hasn't.  I've been busy, and there have been a few late nights, but its been okay.  I'm learning a lot, and retaining a lot of it too.  I'm happy about choosing this school and this major.

I've read a bunch out of the November Ensign, the conference issue, and its been really good.  A lot of stuff on the Holy Spirit.  Its been very inspiring.  I can't wait for Sunday.  I almost forgot it will be stake conference on Sunday.  Church will be a lot earlier then.  That's cool though.  I'll just have to start getting ready earlier.

My uncle Brian and aunt June sent me a present for my birthday: a Mormon Tabernacle Choir CD, and its one of the ones I wanted!!  There are a bunch of other ones I want too.  A couple of multiple CD collections, and a couple of individual CD's.  I also want this Christmas DVD that has "Mr. Kruger's Christmas" on it, as well as three other movies.  There's some Christmas music from the Choir that I want as well.  I ordered some stuff from the catalog we got with the October Ensign, but not very much because I only got a little birthday money from my grandparents, but it paid for my order.  I got a choir CD, a few pamphlets (on budgeting and home storage), and the gospel art book.  It all came up to about twenty dollars and free shipping.  My stuff may not be here for three weeks, but the shipping was free, so its okay.  I'm excited to get my package.

I really want to start home storage.  Home storage is stocking food in case of emergency.  The church recommends that you have enough to last a year, in case of job loss or another type of emergency.  We wont have room to have that much food stored, but we should be able to get some.  That way, if we don't have enough money for all the food we need, we have some saved up.  So, hopefully I'll get some ideas for starting home storage from the pamphlet.

I'm going to apply for food stamps again.  I'm not working, and though I get checks from financial aid every 3 months, and a check from the government every month, it doesn't always cut it.  After bills this month, I have one hundred dollars to last me until the end of the month.  That's enough to pay for most of the food we eat, my half anyway, but I wont have any money for gas.  Fortunately, I'm not driving the car now because of my medicine, so I don't have to pay for gas.  When James drives the car a lot, he puts gas in it.  So that's good.  He's willing to take me to school and such when he's not at work, and Seeker is usually willing to help, so I'm taken care of for the most part.

Overall, today has been good.  I'm going to do more homework, and hopefully I can get everything done that I wanted to get done.  That would be excellent.  But it might be a late night.  That's okay though.  Maybe I can sleep in tomorrow.

Andi and I are going to hang out tomorrow after she gets off work.  That'll be nice.  She and Seeker and Margaret are going to take me out for dinner next weekend for my birthday.  Its a little late, but everyone's schedules permit next Saturday as the winning day.  It's cool.  I'm just happy they're doing something for my birthday.  Heh, last year we went out to a bar, listened to a band, and I got drunk.  Won't be doing that this year!  Or ever again, for that matter.  For some reason I follow when God says not to do something.  Its weird.  lol
