Well no one wants their stuff stolen. She took that email in a totally different context than it was intended... heck she went off on a totally different tangent.

I am thanking GOD that I had to learn one of those life lessons and no longer have that TOXIC BF anymore!! Almost thought you were talking about the same person accept my ex-BF doesn't work.....which is why she is a miserable human being! She's like a CLOUDY day-everyday!! And would prefer is you were cloudy just like her! Good luck with that!

I know just how you feel about your best friend being sooo negative. I have a close friend just like that. But worse than that. Whenever I share my problems with him, he would impatiently wait for me to finish and immediately discharge a volley of negativity and his own problems - my own problems just got pushed aside!

People in deep depression or a depression of any kind actually put everyone around them into a syndrome of sorts. I actually just wrote a paper on this for one of my classes. It is called Depression Fallout. Basically it is the effect the DSO (Depressed significant other) has on every one around them. It's interesting... But I like with someone who sounds just like your friend, you want to walk away but you feel guilty cause you know they have a sickness. It's tough to deal with, but kudos to you for wanting to cut back on the toxic elements in your life.
Oh I have the name of the books I read that might help you deal with her if your interested.
Sorry for your issues, but stay strong and true to you!! |

Damn Whit. I can see why you want to scream. I feel drained just reading that!! It's sad that she is so unhappy that she is like that... but I also get why you feel it is toxic to you! Don't let her bring you down!
