| Thanks! I'm trying - though the urge for a cup of coffee is really strong right now, I'm going to drink my water and put the thought of coffee out of my mind. |

I have about 65 or so lbs I want to shed. I did give in and drink the coffee - but I'm not going to kick myself for it. I'm going to account for the calories that are in it and move on from there. For every cup of coffee I drink I have to drink at least 32 oz of water to help flush my system. LOL
So if I want to drink coffee - I better be prepared to drink the water.
Thinks - you can do this! 122 is totally doable! |

I live on Doritos, coffee and Taco Bell. I might as well just sit down with a can of Crisco and a spoon...
One day, I'll get serious about taking care of myself. I hope I don't wait until it's too late. |

By the way, I'm cheering you on. I know that losing weight has got to be one of the hardest things that people do, and I admire you for it.
I have such an urge to fall on the floor and do some push-ups now, but I'm sure I can resist... |

Indigo - you crack me up!!!!
OLP - yes I can add lemon to my water but I hate the taste of it. To me it's like taking a sip of lets say Coke just after you've brushed your teeth. It has a nasty flavor. SO I just guzzle the crap out of reg water. |

that's a good goal, whit! A lot of people could do to lose some weight...
I haven't seen you, though, so I can't say you're one of those people.
But if you want to, that's cool.
If you really want to lose some weight, my mom does this thing where she has a pedometer (or step-counter, whatever you wanna call it) and she takes at least 10,000 steps a day. Apparently you lose, like, a pound a month like that or something...
Eventually, if you want, you up the number of steps by something per week, like my mom does ups it by 250 a week.
It's supposed to work, and my mom says it does, but I haven't tried it, so I don't know...
Hope all goes well for you! |

NOTE: Just to see if I could, I tried going without coffee today.
I didn't know that it would involve so many tears... |
