Seriously the ONLY trick that has helped me is to chew gum. And LOTS of it!
That and if you feel like you are hungry, drink some water - if you don't feel full from that get a little plate (saucer) and fill that up, not a regular sized plate. You'll trick your mind into thinking you're eating more because you see a filled plate.
I hope that helps..
PS sometimes frolicking in your flabbiness can be fun. LOL

I've been there. Sometimes it helps to just take a deep breath and handle one thing at a time. Don't start something else until you've completed something else. As far as being - $700 in your acct, is there a way you can call the bank and have them refund the overdraft fees? I did that last year, I was -$900 and they refunded all the over draft fee's.

LOL my best friend actually had to take her tree down. Not because her daughters couldn't stay out of it, but because her cat couldn't. She said she drew a christmas tree on a poster board (her kids helped decorate) and she hung that on the wall and the presents will go under the poster board along the wall.

I know exactly how you feel. I actually have a bag of stuff I'm going to take to a womens shelter or a battered women's shelter. The problem is finding one. They are so private that I am having a hard time getting them someplace.

LOL nah. When I was pregnant we had the talk of who would you save if the dr's told you it was me or the baby. He said he'd save me not the baby. Now though, he's had a chance to bond with her, so I think I hope that his answer has changed.

Yeah the dr's said that fevers are good for them, it lets their body fight off what's going on naturally. I'm just worried because she hasn't been fever free since Monday morning.

Oh man that irrates the poop out of me when people try to talk while I'm on the phone. What else irritates me, is when people obviously see I'm on a personal call and they stand there hanging around listening to me. That irritates the caca out of me.

I hold my head a little higher and my heart fills a little more each time I see a soldier. You all are doing something that only the few and brave have the heart to do. I commend you and yours for the willingness to put yourself out there for our freedom.
I hope the soldier you referred to in this blog recovers and does so with the pride he went in with.
