It sounds like life handed you crap in a basket.
The good thing is, you kicked the habit. You may have nothing now, but that doesn't mean you will never have anything again.
Sometimes we get kicked in the teeth, we lose what we have. Look around though if you can at what you have a chance to gain. You're gaining back your strength (kicking the herion has to be something incredibly hard to do), you have a chance to start over.
You can do this. I really hope that you don't do anything to harm yourself. I'm here if you need someone to talk to.

Here is a list of the instructions...
1) Keep checking the printer paper. They go through paper quickly.
2) Please make a copy of any checks that get handed out. Keep a copy of the checks with the paper work, I will deal with it when I get back.
3) Please water the plant that says "water me please" just put water at the bottom where the rocks are, fill it to cover the rocks and it will be fine until next week when I return.
4) The key to the cabinets is in my desk drawer. Do not let anyone go get their own supplies. Nothing needs to be ordered until next week.
5) Randy's email addresses are in my S drive (she left me directions on how to get there)
6) Call me with any weird questions, trust me, it won't bother me because these guys will try lots of stuff with you while I'm gone.
Ok first of all - I know how to water a freaking plant! I'm not a tard.
Second of all - I think I know that the guys go through paper quickly... why wouldn't I check the stupid printer?! DUUUUUUH
Third and finally - I worked with these guys MANY MANY MANY times before! I think I know how they work.
Now that I got all this out there - I hope that its what I needed to get it off my chest.

Ok but here is what you will get with the lovely sock lady.
She wears stretch pants and granny panties (you can see every lovely divot and canyon there). She also has lint, and over abundance of it and will pick at it as she talks to you.
She yells out F*CK and SH*T at random times - minor turrets there I think.
She wears buttons from the 70's talking about peace and Vietnam, save the flowers etc.
She has moldy yogurt containers in her office.
When she doesn't wear her socks, her long alien like toes hang off the front of her theraputic sandals and they sorta drag (I think that's her cheap way of filing down her toe nails)

I think sometimes we have to be happy with what we have as a whole. If we start to focus on what we lack, don't have, missed out on... we tend to not put as much into what we do have, earned, won.
I am all for bettering yourself - heck I learn more about myself everyday. I can honestly say at the end of the day, I like who I am. I would be friends with me. That's all we can do, be happy with you.

I have so been there and done that. Last Christmas I was -900 in the bank, 600 of that was in bounced check fees. Thankfully I called the bank and they gave me back the 600 so then I was only -300. Thankfully this year has been a whole lot better and we haven't gone in the hole at all.
My point is - when things look rough - something good will happen, and you will get that ray of sunshine that lights your heart and soul and you know that no matter what, you'll be ok.

I am so with you on the fridge part. My refrigerator has been going out for awhile. My husband sprays something on it and the fan kicks back on. Thankfully we have another fridge that we normally keep overflow freezer stuff and sodas in... well now that's a catch all.
I can't tell you how much food I've thrown away because of that stupid ass fridge.

It was some sort of religious cult called WOW. Way of the World or Way of the Word something like that. I know my parents up rooted my sisters and I, sold the house we had here and gave all the money they could to the WOW and we lived in Tents and stuff on some land and went to revival with the other people who sold their belongings to follow this group.
