Have you ever had a dream that just sticks with you long after you've woken up? The dream I had last night scared me so bad, I told myself to wake up because I didn't/couldn't finish the dream.
Here's how it started, remember this is a dream I had so nothing is going to make sense.
First my sisters came over, my older sister who was always the "fat sister" came over with her 2 kids. She was no longer fat, she was now a size 8 and I was so jealous. Her kids were filthy dirty so I told them to get in the bath. They got into the bathtub and I started to fill up the water. I don't know why I didn't shut the water off but the water kept getting higher and higher and higher. The water got so high her kids were in it up to their chins... I shut the water off. I washed their hair and they started to cry. I couldn't figure it out. I felt the water and it was ICE COLD. So I hurridly got them out of the water and gave them a heated towel. My sister (their mother) came in and asked why I gave them a bath in ice water, I told her I didn't. The water was warm when I put them in.. I don't know why the water turned so cold.
*switch scenes*
Now I'm at a party, it's my daughters party. So far I count 22 people there - a good little gathering. I walk downstairs and outside and it's like a HUGE HUGE Party. I mean about 300 people or so. I see a few people I haven't seen for a long time and I'm hugging them saying Hi and most of the people I have no idea who they are. I tell the people I do know to follow me, I want them to see Hailey (my daughter). I go inside the house and I'm looking for my daughter, she's not there. I rush outside and look across about 2 acres and I see a swing set with kids playing. I go running full out running and I am looking through all these kids who just seem to multiply Hailey is NO where to be seen. I look around there's a little creek that runs along the side of the yard - I run along the side of the creek looking into the brown water and I am praying, my stomach sinking with the thought of my daughter floating face up. She's not in the creek. I run back the 2 acres to the house asking everyone I can if they have seen Hailey. No one has - some people at this point are leaving. I run back into the house thinking she's upstairs with some of the other kids, so I run back up the stairs tripping over a few steps and cutting my hand... I don't stop. I get to the second floor and I am asking all the kids, the parents if they have seen Hailey. They all say no, they did see her go outside. I run back outside and suddenly no one is there. The 300 or so people have vanished and I'm alone, in the dark.
*switch scene*
I'm sitting alone in an attic and I'm reading a book. I flip the pages skimming over the words. I don't let the words sink in. I get to a page that says a mans name (for the life of me I dont remember what it was) and it says... CONVICTED IN THE ________ of __________.
*it's when I read the CONVICTED IN THE - that's when I woke up. I couldn't read the last words, I just couldn't.
I can't shake this dream. I woke up, took a shower and started crying. The thought of something happening to my daughter is something I can't imagine, yet people face this every day. This is a reality for some people. The thought makes my blood run cold. If I get the energy (that dream drained me) I am going to look up some key things from my dream and see if I can analyze it.

Wow, scary, I had a dream I smoked some stuff, u know, which I don't do, and then my creek in the yard flooded and I don't have flood insurance, it was pretty random.

I have had dreams similiar about my girls and woke up crying. It's so scary. Hope you shake it soon :).. Glad all is okay.

that is a rough dream... I am sorry. Shake it off though.... if the kids where bad then maybe they needed a bath in ice water.
