This past Thanksgiving gave us a time to entertain new Thoughts, with the children gone now we are basically  right back where we started 30 years ago, free. We started talking about things we could do now and surprisingly enough we Thought about maybe moving to somewhere new. I told the kids long ago that after they were all gone from the house we were going to move somewhere where it would cost them $20.00 to send us a post card, I was joking of course. The only problem I could see with moving is to where. We already live in one of the most beautiful places in the country, we have the ocean, mountains and salmon filled rivers, a very laid back community where you can sit through a green light (all two of them) and nobody will honk at you and if they do honk you know their from out of town. But now there is really nothing left here for us but a lot of good memories. My business has slowed way down and after thirteen years at the hospital that Linda worked at they out of the blue eliminated her position due to budget cuts. Work isn’t easy to find in a town of less than 2000 and when the towns are all 27 miles apart and just as small as this one prospects aren’t to good. Oh I could find a job at a fast food place but they would probably find some kid stuck in a deep fat fryer real quick. which would result in keeping me from ever being homeless at least.

So should we open the big map book of the United States and close our eyes and point to somewhere?

I like to gamble but not that much, so were going to start checking some new places out, I’m leaning towards Nevada, maybe Florida. Some where it's warm all the time.
