| to vent or not to vent...

Okay this is going to seem weird and i apologize if i truely hurt anyone's feelings but my feelings have been hurt as well and i want to clarify a few things. to explain... i recently received mail by someone who will remain anonoymous ( or however you spell that) that said they were disappointed in my blog, that it seems shallow and not worth the read. Well in my defense, i am a pretty shallow person. i have lead a very priviledged and sheltered life. yes, i have my moments of weakness where i am darker and make bad decisions but honestly, if i feel like putting them on my blog page i will. they are things in my past that i don't even know if im ready to confront. i am still trying to get a feel for what i should and shouldnt put up here. if someone is craving the words of a depressed, alcoholic college student or even just a someone a lot more creative and mysterious than me then yes, my blog is probably not worth their read. i described my life as reality TV worthy... its shallow, doesn't make a whole lot of sense, and for most is a guilty pleasure. i highly doubt you will ever find something profound in my musings so i'm sorry if these are boring to you.... please don't read. if you like shallow and just plain ridiculous at times then i think i can entertain you and i would love if you stuck with me... i hope to eventually branch deeper into myself, but i have trust issues (honestly, who doesn't?) hahaha sorry for the venting so early in the week but i just needed to say my peace...

Some people around here can be quite critical about other authors' blogs can't they...?
It's your blog, so I say write what ever you want, how ever you want; otherwise, it ceases to be your blog.

i agree with frankly. this is a sanctum for your thoughts, and the person that sent that letter is a jackass that has nothing better to do than slander you. if they dont like it, they shouldnt read it. if it's not worth their read, then why do they still read it?

A blog, is a blog, is a blog. Hang in there. Your life is your life, and just because your writings do not uphold someone's level of entertainment does not mean that you should stop.
Heck, if people judged me on what I write and how I live my life then they must be bored out of their own minds, and have nothing better to do than rant and rave. Hey wait, I'm ranting and raving. Crap I just went to the darkside.
Seriously write what you write and keep it up. It's your thoughts.
