Sweet sorento moon
I've just come back from my Salsa class. It was fun, I'm not really up to the complicated moves that the teachers are showing us, its more of an advanced class where as I'm more a enthusiastic improver but the teacher seems to think that doing a more advanced class will bring me on. its a little daunting but like i say, my fellow dancers don't seem to mind my inability and its good fun. And quite a good work out too
In the class, they played this song and I love it, I don't know what it is about it but to me its so romantic. It reminds me of my time in Fl, walking round a resort with my lady. We sat by the pool in the early evening warmth watching people having fun. In the bar opposite a guy was playing guitar and singing and my lady and I were just talking and holding hands. I think there were fireworks in the distance. The resort was beautiful, the company was amazing and it is one of my happiest memories. There was just....contentment, you know?
So anyway, i heard the song and it took me back. I wanted to be dancing with my lady right then, not just anyone. It was her i wanted to be holding, and that made me sad, sorta took the edge off the fun. So i came home. I missed hearing her voice.
I know, I must be a romantic sap, so sue me.
I'm me, I can't help how I feel, and i just needed to tell her I love her. However i can. And when i read the words to the song, its even more fitting.
