| What motivates someone to suicide in a war

What somebody hears and sees with their own two eyes, just maybe has a little bit of an effect on their perceptions of life. One example (if you look at a mapping of the world) and if I didn't know and just went by what I see on the globe. It may look like the USA is 'surrounding' Iran(?) What with army troops and air bases and naval presence etc. in Iraq, Afghanistan and the water-ways. Partnered with Pakistan?
Meanwhile I tried putting on the shoes of a youngster having grown up in the middle of it. Besides the bad things being said about Americans, imagine losing an uncle, then a good friend, brother etc. BECAUSE of
the U.S. military causing their deaths.
Then again I am for freedom. and freedom of choice. Women in Afghanistan, as was reported were not allowed to be educated. Now they can attend colleges............
Being propagandized myself ever since I can recall by the beauracracy we fondly term a democratic process(?)
Trying to convince me that 'my vote' counts. I just think it's ALL wrong.
In this day and age with the means to we could open the communication network to let our whole population govern ourselves.But that's too grandiose. Who cares?
