Dear Heavenly Father,

I thank you for having kept me safe during the night.  Now I pause at the beginning of another week to ask You to go with me.  I do not know what this week will bring- pleasure or pain, health or sickness, sunshine or shadow.  However, I am not afraid if You will be my Companion, for You love me with an everlasting love and will guard and protect me from all evil.  I need Your presence every step of the way.  At the beginning of this week I ask only that You will stay close beside me, for, thought I do not know what the future holds, I know who holds the future.  Bless me in whatever I do.  Make me strong physically, mentally, morally, and spiritually.  Watch over me and over those I love.  I ask this in the name of Your beloved Son, my Savior and Redeemer.  Amen.
